Today is such a special day for so many of us. It's Tuesday, it's Valentine's Day!!
Just kidding. WGAF seriously about Valentines Day? Apart from chocolate and flowers obviously...
It's Tuesday and if you train exactly like me...it's the day after squats! It's my favourite day!! I'm three exclamation points worth of excited!!! Not because squats are done, but because it's the day hopefully my arse hurts. Not my hips, not my knees, not my back and not my soul.
You see, I have a love hate relationship with squats. Sometimes they feel absolutely magic - I'm in the groove, confident and strong. But at other times (sometimes the next session), I feel completely lost. New to the movement, totally confused and with no confidence that I'm even close to doing it right. Weights I've previously breezed through, are like hell on my back. I'm in the jungle in the dark...you get it?
So that's why I love Tuesday. If my glutes, hamstrings, adductors and core all feel a little fried, I am one happy, happy girl. Job done right.
May your arse hurt in all the right places this Valentine's Day.
Big cheers, xx Anna
But how do I make it Hurt So Good Anna?
