Today was squat and deadlift intensity day. I buggered some fingers on my right hand doing tyre flips yesterday and my grip is limp and painful...so no deadlifts. That sucks because I don't feel too beaten up and was hoping to actually move up and on to a new heavy set of three.
Not this week.
The squats felt really good, solid and no hip pain. I tried to not overthink and over cue my tiny brain but I came forward on the third rep of 107.5 and couldn't get back in position enough to come up.
I waited to try again and got two reps but was too spent to go further and called it a day in the squat rack.
I did single arm KB presses 5 x 8 LR @16kg, some yoke carries with 120kg and some prowler drags with 40kg. Whoopee shit.
