I'm in a tapering off period -because I'm competing next week- so I don't have any PRs to crow about. I have hit all of my openers with commands and if I make those lifts in competition, it'll beat my last comp total. I'm hoping after a good rest week I'll pr on the platform for at least the squat and the deadlift.
Every other body in the gym got a PR this morning, which is always fun to be around. Kasey took 80kg solidly as a 5x5 in the deadlift after wrestling with it for a couple of weeks, so she's my favourite lifter this week x It was hot when I got home so I made plans for hanging out with good folk on grass with chicken and cold drinks. I made James' salad which is actually Teresa Cutter's salad and when I was looking in the cupboard for some apple cider vinegar, I found a FULL UNOPENED bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin. Wot the actual fuck! So my PR can be that there is delicious alcohol in my house and I actually forgot about it... What have you got?
